Interested in learning how to operate drones safely and exploring the skills needed to become a licensed drone pilot? This one-week Intro to Drone Operations “Boot Camp” offers a comprehensive, hands-on introduction to drone operations for community members ages 16 and up.
The course is designed for beginners, hobbyists, students, career changers, aviation and electronics enthusiasts, and anyone interested in learning more about drones.
What You’ll Learn
Participants will explore drone licensing, hands-on procedures, rules and regulations, airspace and weather, mission planning and flying. The course is also designed to help participants prepare to take the FAA Remote Pilot Exam.
