  • The Monterey Adult School is a satellite for Monterey Peninsula Community College (MPC). We host one of their Early Childhood Development courses on our campus.
     
    MPC's Bilingual Child Growth & Development (ECED 1) course examines developmental milestones for children from conception through adolescence. This course emphasizes on interactions between maturational processes and environmental factors. Within this course, you will observe children, evaulate individual differences, and analyze characteristics of development at various stages according to developmental theories.

  • The Monterey Adult School is a satellite for Monterey Peninsula Community College (MPC). We host one of their culinary foundations courses at Seaside High School – right down the street from our campus. 
     
    MPC's Culinary Foundations Course is a comprehensive introduction to the principles of food preparation in a professional kitchen. It emphasizes hands-on cooking, tasting, and evaluation to teach professional culinary techniques. The course also stresses how ingredients and culinary processes affect product outcome.

  • Learn the fundamentals of Spanish with basic vocabulary and common phrases, verb tenses, and practical topics to better communicate and support our Spanish speaking community members. $50
     
    EVENING: Wednesdays 4:30 to 5:45 PM

  • Offered in partnership with Monterey Bay DART, learn to fly drones safely, legally, and professionally. The course will cover drone fundamentals, basic flight operations, FAA airshpace rules, and real world applicaitons across industries. This program prepares students for the FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot License. $200 Fee

  • This four-session course is designed for adults of all ages who want to learn the fundamentals of playing the drums. The class covers essential topics such as getting to know the drum kit and its components, learning core techniques, and building foundational rhythms and grooves. Participants will practice basic exercises, develop coordination, and explore simple drumming techniques, all while gaining the confidence to advance their drumming skills. No experience is required. $80
