Description: This class meets in person. Class size is limited to 20 students. Register early! This is an 8-week course for beginners to learn how to use web browsers and search engines to naviage the World Wide Web. We will discuss best practices for online safety while surfing the web and submitting information.
Prerequisites: none
Northstar Digital Literacy Certification is available for this class. In order to earn a Northstar Digital Literacy Certification, students must pass the assessment with a score of 85% or higher. The student must present a valid photo ID on Northstar test days. $25 feeCost: $25

Create stunning designs using CANVA, an online design tool that makes it easy for anyone to create professional-looking visuals. You can create flyers, posters, social media graphics, presentations, newsletters, etc. $25 Fee

Description: This is an introduction to Microsoft Word. We will learn how to enter and format text and images, use spell check, change line spacing, and copy and paste. We will also download files from the internet, and save and print files.
Prerequisite: Basic Computer skills or experience using a touchpad or mouse.Northstar Digital Literacy Certification is available for this class. In order to earn a Northstar Digital Literacy Certification, students must pass the assessment with a score of 85% or higher. The student must present a valid photo ID on Northstar test

Prerequisites: Microsoft Word or basic computer skills. This is not for beginners. Daily attendance is required.
